How Many Teams Would You Like to Have?
You can compete as one team or split into multiple teams — it’s up to you!

• If you want to compete as multiple teams, you’ll need to purchase one download per team (not per player). Each team can have as many players as you’d like.

• If you're competing as a single group, only one person needs to purchase and access the download. Your group will compete against other users on the leaderboard, including current and past players.

Important:
The email used during checkout must match the email used to create your Eventzee account, or you will not be able to access the game.

You can access the scavenger hunt in two ways:

1. Download the Eventzee app

2. Use a web browser (no download required)

Both options require creating an Eventzee account. Again, be sure to use the same email you used at checkout.

The game works on both Apple and Android devices. 

Please purchase one order per team, regardless of the number of players. If you wish to play more than one team, have each lead team member (whoever wants to use their phone) purchase with their email. Example: If you would like to have two teams, have one team member purchase a hunt, and have a team member from the other team also purchase a hunt. Both using a separate email address to sign up and purchase for each team. 

Hidden Island Gems: an interactive, age inclusive, family-friendly scavenger hunt that takes you on a self-guided adventure to discover the beauty, history, and hidden treasures of Put-in-Bay. Fun for all ages! 

Sip & Seek: is an adults-only (21+) hunt that mixes island exploration with stops at local bars and pubs, featuring fun challenges, themed photo ops, and of course—plenty of chances to sip responsibly or enjoy some local grub.

1. How long does the scavenger hunt take?
Our scavenger hunts typically take 1-2 hours, depending on the pace of your team and the number of challenges you complete.

2. Can we play at any time or is there a set schedule?
You can start your scavenger hunt anytime you’d like within the availability window mentioned in your purchase confirmation. It's entirely self-paced!

3. Do we need to bring anything to play?
● Comfortable walking shoes

● Sunscreen, water, and weather-appropriate gear

● A sense of adventure (and a fully charged phone with access to the internet!)

For Sip & Seek, don’t forget:

● Valid photo ID

4. Is there a minimum or maximum number of players per team?
Nope! Your team can be as small or as large as you’d like. Just keep in mind that larger teams may need to share devices for accessing the game.

5. Who can participate?
Hidden Island Gems: All ages welcome! Perfect for families, couples, individuals, team outings, or anyone who loves solving clues and exploring.

Sip & Seek: Participants must be 21 or older—valid ID required to enter all local establishments, however we do not require proof of ID upon purchase. Ideal for friend groups, bachelor/bachelorette parties, couples, or anyone looking to mix food and drinks with discovery.

6. What happens if I lose my internet connection during the hunt?
The Eventzee app saves your progress, so you won’t lose your place. Just reconnect to the internet to continue where you left off.

7. Can I play the game more than once?
Yes, but the challenges and clues will remain the same unless you purchase a new hunt with a different theme.

8. What if we get stuck on a clue?
Don’t worry! Hints are available for each challenge in the app. You can also skip challenges if you’d like to move on to the next one.

9. How does the leaderboard work?
The leaderboard ranks teams based on points earned during the hunt. Compete against other teams in real time or see how you stack up against past players!

10. What happens if I accidentally log out of the app or switch devices?
No problem! Just log back into your Eventzee account using the same email you used at checkout, and your progress will be restored.

11. Can we customize our scavenger hunt?
Yes, we offer custom hunts for special events like birthdays, weddings, and corporate team-building. Contact us for details!

12. What if I didn’t receive my game access email?
Check your spam/junk folder first. If you still don’t see it, reach out to us at [support email], and we’ll help you out.

13. How much walking is involved?
Hidden Island Gems: This hunt involves moderate walking. However, transportation is required unless you would like to do excessive walking. Everything is within a reasonable distance, and you’ll have plenty of chances to rest and refresh along the way. Please note transportation will not be provided to you with this hunt, so any additional expenses are the buyers responsibility.

Sip and Seek: This hunt involves moderate walking around downtown Put-in-Bay. Everything is within a reasonable distance, and you’ll have plenty of chances to rest and refresh along the way.

14. What if it rains?
Both hunts run rain or shine, so pack a poncho if the weather’s iffy!
